architecture. A perfect example of this is The
Sears Tower, the tallest building in North America. Head up to the sky deck and see spectacular views of the city.
Some of the famous
music festivals you can check out are the
Chicago Blues Festival,
Gospel Festival and the
Chicago Jazz Festival. All feature great music and they run between two and three days. Prefer to do some eating instead? The
Taste of Chicago is a huge food festival lasting 10 days ending on July 4th, where over 100 local
restaurants and chefs serve up their best dishes.
Parks abound in this lakeside city with
Grant Park,
Jackson Park and
Lincoln Park, which features a
zoo, all resting on the shores of
Lake Michigan. If walking around Chicago hasn't worn you out enough then rent a paddleboat and trek around Lincoln Park's south pond before retiring to your Chicago for a well deserved nights rest.
