Chicago Jazz Festival
Once again, Grant Park draws music-lovers galore for another one of Chicago's most famous music festivals: The Chicago Jazz Festival. Each Labor Day weekend, local, national and international performers stock several stages with the sultry sounds of "American's Classical Music".

Past performers include Grammy winner Dave Holland, Freddy Cole, Jane Bunnett and jazz veteran Sheila Jordan. Not only a feast for the ears, the Chicago Jazz Festival boasts food aplenty not to mention history lessons in the form of tapes of famous jazz performances.
