Museum of Broadcast Communications Chicago
Located on the first floor of the Chicago Cultural Center, the Museum of Broadcast Communications is one of only two such institutions in the country. The other is in Washington, DC, but this one is the home to Radio Hall of Fame - a fascinating spot in its own right. We should give you a word of warning here; you can spend hours in this place before you know it. From the lobby to individual viewing booths to twin screening rooms there is always something to catch your attention.
There are over 70,000 hours of television programs available for viewing. You will be able to see the earliest television broadcasts in history, and many others which made history. In the Radio Hall of fame, you can listen again to the Lone Ranger, Wolfman Jack and other pioneers and stars of the medium. You don't have to just be a spectator here - participate in a museum production or videotape your own newscast.
