Reverie Theatre Chicago
In the past, present and future the Reverie Theatre Company keeps is central theme of love, a subject we are all familiar with. The plays that are chosen to be performed deal with the struggles we all encounter at different times in our lives with relationships, family and society in general.
In the past The Cherry Orchard, by Anton Chekhov and Fool For Love by Sam Shepard have been brought to life by this talented group of performers. The plays have gone off with great reviews from local critics including the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Critic. Past performances have been held at the Stage Left Theatre, the Athenaeum Theatre and the Viaduct Theatre.
The first performance for 2006 is due to open in March at the Breadline Theatre located on 1802 W.Bernice Street, Chicago. The play an adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel Emma, which has been adapted for the stage by Stephen Fedo who also plays Mr. Woodhouse in the production.
