Taste of Chicago
Musical entertainment meets fine cuisine in the Windy City's annual Taste of Chicago festival. With more than 70 restaurants in participation, this two week summer event attracts over 3 million people in total. The city's finest set up shop and serve up mouth-watering creations to hungry visitors. The city is said to literally slow down for this major event. And who could blame them? Musical acts are booked to entertain the masses as they devour savory treats. Past performers include BB King, James Brown and The Bare Naked Ladies.

But the food is what truly draws the crowds to this free-admission event. Not only is there a chance to sample food from all over the world but daily cooking demonstrations display the talent of the city's top chefs.
